Overview

Medianexpro is a media and marketing services business that needs a website to present what it does and bring in enquiries. We built the site with Laravel and MySQL, giving the company a maintainable platform on its own domain instead of a rigid template.

The Challenge

Marketing and media agencies are judged by their own presentation. A site that is slow, inconsistent or hard to update sends the wrong message to prospective clients, yet agencies rarely have spare time to manage a complicated content system. The website therefore needed to look professional, explain a range of services clearly and remain easy for the team to edit as offerings, clients and campaigns change. It also needed a sound technical base, so that features such as forms, blog posts or a client area could be added later.

Our Approach

We chose to build on Laravel because it lets us combine a polished public site with an administrative area for content, without the overhead and plugin sprawl of a general-purpose CMS. Page content and service descriptions are stored in the database and edited through simple forms, so the team does not touch code. We planned the page structure around the questions prospective clients ask, namely what services are offered, what the work looks like and how to get in touch, and designed the navigation and calls to action to answer them in that order.

What We Built

The site presents the company's media and marketing services in a clear, organized layout, with pages for services, company information and contact. Enquiry forms validate input and deliver messages to the team by email, with protection against automated spam. Administrators can update page content through a back-end area, and the design is responsive so that clients viewing the site from a phone see the same clarity as on a desktop. Metadata and clean URLs are set up so that pages can be found by search engines.

Technology

Laravel provides routing, templating, validation and mail handling in one framework, and its security features protect forms and administrative access by default. MySQL stores page content and enquiries. Choosing a framework instead of a page-builder gives us fast pages, tidy markup and full control over structure, which suits a marketing business that cares about search visibility and performance. It also leaves room for growth, whether that is a portfolio, a blog or integrations with marketing tools.

Outcome

Medianexpro has a professional website that describes its media and marketing services and channels enquiries to the team. Content can be updated without a developer, and the underlying platform can accommodate new sections and features as the business grows, giving the agency a stable base for its online presence.
