Lisora — ISO Certification & Compliance Consultancy

Website for an ISO certification and regulatory compliance consultancy, with a sister Digital division site sharing one visual identity.

Overview

Lisora is an ISO certification and regulatory compliance consultancy. We designed and built its web presence: the main consultancy site and a sister Digital division site, both on WordPress and sharing one visual identity. The audience is organisations that need certification to win work, satisfy regulators or improve their management systems.

The Challenge

Compliance buyers research carefully. They search for specific standards, compare consultancies and look for evidence that a firm understands their sector. A thin or generic site gives them no reason to trust the firm. Lisora also runs a digital-services division serving a different audience, and the two needed to look related without being mixed together. The sites therefore had to demonstrate expertise, appear for the searches people actually make and keep two offerings distinct but connected.

Who Uses the Sites and How

A tender coordinator who has just read that suppliers must hold a particular certification searches for that standard by name and wants to understand scope and effort. A quality or risk manager compares consultancies, reads the specific service page and checks for sector experience. Lisora's marketing staff publish articles and update service pages on both sites, and consultants receive enquiries and route them to the right practice.

Our Approach

We put expertise first. Instead of a general services list, each certification area gets its own presentation with supporting proof points, so a reader can judge depth of knowledge instead of taking it on trust. Search was the second driver: compliance is a search-led buying journey, so page content, headings and internal links follow the questions people type when researching a standard. The Digital division received its own site, which lets it target its own keywords and audience, while a shared design system ties both to the same brand.

What We Built

The main site presents each area of certification expertise on a clear, scannable page paired with proof points. Content is organised for compliance searches, with descriptive headings and logical relationships between pages. The Digital site follows the same visual language, using the same typography, colour and component style, so a visitor moving between the two recognises one company, yet it has its own navigation and content so its services are not buried inside a compliance-focused structure.

Architecture and Data

The two sites share a theme foundation: common components such as buttons, cards, headers and proof-point blocks are defined once and reused, which reduces maintenance and keeps them aligned when either changes. Each page targets one clear topic so search engines can match it to a query. Enquiry forms are validated on the server and routed to the appropriate team.

Security, Privacy and Quality

A compliance consultancy's site should model good practice. That means HTTPS, updated WordPress and plugins and restricted admin roles. Content about standards must be accurate: certification is awarded by independent certification bodies, so the copy should describe a consultancy's support role without implying the consultancy itself certifies clients. Enquiry data is limited to what is needed to respond. We tested the shared components on both sites, checked page titles and headings for search clarity, and verified the mobile layouts.

Technology

We built on WordPress with custom PHP theme code and JavaScript for interface behaviour. WordPress was the sensible choice for two content-heavy sites managed by a business team: editing is familiar, search tooling is mature, and the shared theme foundation means design updates can be applied consistently across both properties.

Outcome

Lisora has a web presence that shows its certification expertise in a form buyers can evaluate, supported by content structured to be found through compliance searches. The Digital division has a home of its own that still reads as part of the same company, and the team can keep publishing and refining content on both sites without developer involvement.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to build a website for a compliance consultancy?

Cost is driven by how many standards and services need dedicated pages, the amount of content writing, the design system, and whether there are multiple sites as here. Search-focused structure adds planning time but tends to pay off. We scope after reviewing your services and audiences.

Should a consultancy's second division have its own site?

If it serves a different buyer with different search terms, a separate site can target them better. Sharing a design system keeps the two recognisably one company and limits maintenance.

How do compliance firms rank for ISO-related searches?

Buyers search for specific standards and questions, so a dedicated page per topic, clear headings that mirror those questions, accurate content and links between related pages give search engines a clear picture of your expertise.
