NTR Planning

Overview

NTR Planning is a UK town planning and property consultancy practice with accreditation from the Royal Town Planning Institute. Its clients are landowners, developers and homeowners who need expert help with planning matters. We built the practice's website on WordPress, giving it a clean, professional presence that puts its qualifications up front.

The Challenge

People who search for a planning consultant are usually facing a decision with real financial consequences, such as a refusal, an application or a development opportunity. They compare firms on expertise and reliability, not on flashy design. A professional-services site therefore has to demonstrate credibility immediately, describe services in plain language without jargon, and make it easy to start a conversation. Many small consultancies fall short by hiding their accreditation deep in an About page or by overloading the site with technical terms.

Our Approach

We led with credentials. Professional accreditation is the strongest trust signal this practice has, so the layout places it where visitors see it in the first screen, and supports it with sober typography and a restrained colour palette that suits the sector. Content was organized around the questions clients bring, rather than around internal service names, and every page ends with a clear route to contact the practice. We chose WordPress so the practice can revise service descriptions, add news and update project information without a developer.

What We Built

We delivered a clean, credential-forward website with a home page that states who the practice is and what it is accredited to do, service pages that explain planning and consultancy work for property owners, and contact routes that make enquiries straightforward. The layout is deliberately calm, with generous whitespace and readable copy, to match a professional-services audience. Pages are responsive so that clients reviewing the firm from a phone or tablet get the same clarity as on a desktop.

Technology

WordPress with a lightweight custom theme keeps the site fast and easy to maintain. We limited plugins to those we would genuinely need, such as contact forms and basic search visibility tools, in order to reduce security exposure and keep updates simple. Semantic markup and structured headings help search engines understand the services and location, which matters for a practice that depends on local and regional enquiries.

Outcome

NTR Planning now has a website that communicates accreditation and expertise at a glance, explains its services in accessible terms and directs enquiries to the practice. Because it runs on WordPress, the team can keep information current as regulations, services and projects evolve. The site gives the practice a credible professional face that supports referrals and search-driven enquiries.
