QSM Digital — Technology Division Platform

Standalone agency website for the technology division of OSM Group, with a service catalogue built for Qatar's digital market.

Overview

QSM Digital is the technology division of OSM Group. We built its website so that it presents as an independent digital agency while remaining clearly connected to its parent company. The audience is businesses in Qatar looking for digital services from a partner they can trust, typically after comparing several agencies.

The Challenge

A division inside a larger group faces a branding question. If it looks exactly like the parent, it may not be taken seriously as a specialist. If it looks entirely separate, it loses the credibility of the group behind it. The site had to strike that balance and then present a broad set of digital services in an orderly way for a market where buyers scrutinise agencies closely and expect to see proof of capability before they enquire.

Who Reads the Site and What They Look For

A marketing director or business owner in Qatar is the usual reader. They arrive with a specific need, such as a new website, an app or a campaign, and open several agency sites in tabs. They scan for three things: does this agency do what I need, has it worked with recognisable technologies and partners, and how do I reach a person. Internally, the division's marketing lead edits service pages, updates statistics and swaps partner logos in the WordPress admin without needing a developer.

Our Approach

We gave QSM Digital its own identity and voice as a standalone agency, and expressed the OSM Group connection as a supporting fact rather than the headline. For credibility we chose evidence that agency buyers respond to: headline statistics and the logos of technology partners. The service catalogue was planned around what companies in Qatar actually purchase, so each service can be understood without jargon. Copy is written as an agency would speak to a client, direct about what is offered and free of internal group language.

What We Built

The site includes an agency homepage, a service catalogue with individual service sections, a statistics band, a partner logo area and contact routes for enquiries. Each service section states what is delivered, who it suits and how to start. The design is contemporary and clean, suited to a technology brand, and consistent from page to page. Responsive layouts let decision makers review it on a phone between meetings or on a large monitor in a boardroom.

Architecture and Data

The content model separates services, statistics and partner logos into distinct editable units, so updating a figure or adding a partner does not require touching page layout. Custom templates render these units consistently, which means a new service page inherits the same structure as existing ones. Enquiry submissions are validated on the server and delivered to the division's team.

Security, Privacy and Quality

Because the site is a public marketing presence, the main concerns are protecting the admin area, minimising plugin risk and handling enquiry data properly. We used server-side validation and escaped output on forms, and recommended strong administrator credentials with limited user roles. Enquiries contain business contact details, so they are used only to respond. We tested the site on common phone and desktop browsers and checked the logo band at several screen widths.

Technology

We built on WordPress with custom PHP and JavaScript. Custom templates let us establish a distinctive design for the new brand rather than relying on a stock theme, and give the team simple ways to add services, update statistics and swap partner logos. Lightweight code keeps pages quick.

Outcome

QSM Digital has an agency website with its own identity, a well-organised service catalogue and credibility signals that suit the Qatar market, while staying tied to OSM Group. The team can extend the site as the division adds services and partners without rebuilding it.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to build a website for a digital agency?

Price depends on the number of service pages, the amount of bespoke design, copywriting, multilingual needs such as Arabic and English, and integrations like a CRM. A custom-designed agency site takes more effort than a template because it must demonstrate design quality itself. We scope it after understanding your services and audience.

Should a company division have its own website or sit inside the parent site?

If the division sells to a different audience or competes with specialist agencies, a standalone site with its own identity is usually more persuasive. It should still reference the parent so that group credibility carries over.

What builds trust on an agency website?

Buyers look for clear service descriptions, recognisable partner or technology logos, real figures the agency can stand behind, and an easy way to make contact. Vague claims without evidence tend to be ignored.
